This small and transportable Ripple Tank can be shown with a document camera or video camera. One or two dippers are attached to an electronic ripple generator and create wave patterns. A strobe light helps to image the vibrations. The frequencies of the vibrations and the strobe light can be adjusted independently.

The Ripple Tank comes with an assortment of accessories that can be placed in the water as barriers and reflectors. The available dippers are a single point, a double point, and a plane wave bar.

• Using a video camera or document camera has an unfortunate bright/dark effect due to film speeds. Suggestions are welcome for improving this issue.
