Gigantic Concave/Convex Mirror

 

Our 24in x 36in home-made acrylic mirror supplied with a simple standing mechanism can be bent into concave, convex or flat arrangements. Students can better understand image distortion from curved mirror surfaces if this demonstration immediately follows or is done in conjunction with the “Black Board Optics,” demonstrating the reflection of light rays from curved or flat mirrors.

In addition to the rectangular mirror that can be made to be concave or convex, we also have one large concave and one large convex mirror shown below.
